Colonel Andrew Bacevich is a retired US Army Colonel and currently a professor of International Relations and History at Boston University. He has written a number of books, including American Empire: The Realities and Consequences of US Diplomacy, The New American Militarism: How Americans Are Seduced by War, The Long War: A New History of U.S. National Security Policy Since World War II, and The Limits of Power: The End of American Exceptionalism.
